The Stacey Pre-School Team are committed to ensuring that all of our children receive the highest quality childcare as they play, explore and have fun together.
Vicky Collins
Pre-School Manager & Safeguarding Lead

Vicky holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, is a qualified Paediatric First Aider, holds Level 4 in Safeguarding and has over 14 years of experience in Early Years education - over 8 of which as the Nursery Manager & Safeguarding Lead at a Portsmouth nursery that achieved an Ofsted rating of "Good" with "outstanding elements" under her management.

Vicky is keen to encourage children to make full use of the outside spaces available, and also for the children to explore and learn from visits to the wider community.

 

Vicky believes that developing excellent working relationships with parents and carers is fundamental to supporting each child's  individual needs so that they achieve the best possible outcomes.

Justyna Lewandowski
Forest School Leader & Pre-School Practitioner

Justyna is qualified in Childcare to Level 4, is a trained Paediatric First Aider and is a qualified Forest School Paediatric First Aider.

 

Justyna will be joining us at The Stacey Pre-School as an Early Years Practitioner with a specialism in Forest School, as she is qualified as a Level 3 Forest School Leader, fully accredited by the Forest Schools Association.

 

As well as sharing her love of the outdoors and the forest school ethos with The Stacey Pre-School children, Justyna operates a fun and engaging programme of Forest School activities throughout the year, including at The Stacey Centre, and can be reached via her Explore and More Forest School page.

Marianna Pinnock
Pre-School Deputy Manager
& SENCO Officer

As a former Nursery Manager of 11 years standing, Marianna's career as an Early Years educator spans over 25 years. She holds qualifications in Level 3 Childcare, Level 5 Health & Social Care and Level 3 SENCO in Early Years, as well as being qualified as a Paediatric First Aider, holding an Advanced Certificate in Safeguarding, a Level 2 in Food Hygiene and is Makaton trained. 

Marianna has a keen interest in outdoor learning, and is also very excited to introduce the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to the children in our setting as she is also qualified to teach BSY Children's Yoga.

 

Marianna is particularly looking forward to sharing her love of cooking healthy and nuturitious food with our children.

Natalie
Pre-School Practitioner

Natalie holds a Level 3 Diploma as an Early Years Childcare Educator and is a qualified Paediatric First Aider. 

Natalie has over 10 years experience in providing childcare in the UK, Europe and the Maldives and is currently learning Makaton. Natalie also holds a Level 3 certificate in Food Safety and is trained in the Boogie Mites School Ready programme.

With a particular interest in the benefits of sensory play in all its forms, Natalie is excited to help present inviting and interesting provocations for the children in her care using both natural materials and household items to encourage open ended play.

Tilly Newton
Pre-School Co-ordinator
& Forest School Lead

Expanding on her current role as The Stacey Centre Manager, Tilly also holds full admin responsibility for The Stacey Pre-School and is near to completing her training as a Level 3 Forest School Leader, fully accredited by The Forest School Association. She is especially excited to be able to present Early Years Forest School sessions from a completely organic environment.

 

Tilly is a qualified Paediatric First Aider, holds a Level 2 qualification in Food Hygiene and a Level 1 qualification in Safeguarding.

As a mother of five, with many years experience in delivering various workshops to children across all age groups, Tilly's 10 years experience in running her own small holding makes her the ideal candidate to share her love of the natural world with our team, our families and the children in our setting.

Lauren
Pre-School Practitioner
(Bank Staff)

Lauren joins The Stacey Pre-School as a bank Pre-School Practitioner who will be working with us to provide childcare cover during periods of staff holidays or absences.

 

She holds a Level 6 Early Years qualification as a graduate with a BA in Early Childhood Studies, is First Aid and Safeguarding trained and holds a Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.

Experienced in the care of nursery aged children as a pre-school practitioner, Lauren is also an experienced Care Worker, working and caring for children within a residential care setting.
