Vicky Collins

The Stacey Pre-School Manager & Designated Safeguarding Lead

Vicky holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and has over 18 years of experience in Early Years education and is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Vicky is keen to encourage children to make full use of our amazing outside spaces and resources, and also for the children to explore and learn from visits into the wider community.

 

Vicky is looking forward to begin training as a Forest Schools Association accredited practitioner next term. Vicky believes that developing excellent working relationships with parents and carers is fundamental to supporting each child's  individual needs so that they achieve the best possible outcomes. Vicky has the following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 3

  • Safeguarding Lead Level 3

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Safeguarding Level 2

Hayley Collins

Deputy Manager & SENCo

Hayley has over 12 years of childcare experience in settings in Portsmouth and has a particular interest in supporting EAL learners and children with SEN. Hayley has recently completed training as a Level 3 SENCo with a specialism in Early Years with Portsmouth City Council and hopes to also complete her training in the Neurodiversity Profiling Tool next term to complement this. Hayley has the following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 3

  • Early Years SENCo Level 3

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Safeguarding Level 2

  • Food Hygiene Level 2

Justyna Lewandowski

Forest School Leader & Pre-School Practitioner (Level 4)

Justyna is qualified in Childcare to Level 4 and is a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader, accredited by the Forest Schools Association and has over 10 years experience in Early Years childcare and Forest School settings.

 

Justyna is fluent in German and Polish, and has been an invaluable support to some of our children whose home language is Polish. Justyna enjoys sharing her love of the outdoors and the Forest School ethos with The Stacey Pre-School children by delivering an enriching Forest School programme of activities: children will join in with bug-hunts, camp-fire cooking, den making, and lots of forest craft activities. Justyna has the following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 4

  • Forest School Leader Level 3 - Accredited by The Forest Schools Association

  • Forest School First Aid

  • Safeguarding Level 2

  • Food Hygiene Level 2

Natasha

Pre-School Practitioner (Level 3)

Natasha has several years experience in Early Years and has recently completed her SENCo Level 3 Training with a specialism in Early Years.  Natasha has the following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 3

  • EY SENCo Level 3

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Safeguarding Level 2

  • Food Hygiene Level 2

  • The Prevent Duty in Early Years

  • FGM Awareness Traing

Natalie

Pre-School Practitioner (Level 3)

Natalie holds a Level 3 Diploma as an Early Years Childcare Educator and is a qualified Paediatric First Aider and has the

following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 3

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Safeguarding Level 2

  • Food Hygiene Level 1

  • The Prevent Duty in Early Years

  • FGM Awareness Training

Tanjina

Pre-School Practitioner (Level 3)

Tanjina joins us as a bank practitioner working with the team to provide additional support during the busiest Spring & Summer Terms and to provide cover during staff holidays, training and absences. Tanjina has 2 years of nursing experience and 5 years experience working in Early Years settings. Tanjina also speaks fluent Bengali and has the

following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 3

Pre-School Practitioner (Level 3)

Molly is a full time student studying Primary teaching and joins our team as a bank practitioner.  Molly has the following training accreditations:

  • Childcare Level 3

  • The Prevent Duty in Early Years

Milly

Pre-School Practitioner (Level 3)

Milly is a full time student currently undertaking teacher training and joins us as a bank practitioner.  Milly has the following training accreditations:

Holly

Pre-School Practitioner (Level 3)

Lynda Bowley
Pre-School Co-ordinator & Centre Manager

Lynda is responsible for the operation and finances of both The Stacey Centre and The Stacey Pre-School setting and works very closely with the Pre-School management team.  Lynda has previously been a volunteer with the Stacey Community Association and was Chair of the charity for four years before moving to her current role. Lynda has the following training accreditations:

  • GDPR

  • Safeguarding Level 2

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Food Hygiene Level 2
